1. General
This Car Rental Policy applies exclusively to all vehicle rental bookings made through LEMMETravel Car Rental Platform. By confirming a car rental booking, the customer agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined below.
2. Eligibility Requirements
To rent a vehicle, the driver must:
Be at least 21 years of age and no older than 78 years (higher age limits may apply for certain vehicle categories).
Hold a valid driving license for a minimum of 12 months.
Present a valid passport or national ID at the time of vehicle pickup.
Hold an International Driving Permit (IDP) if required by local regulations.
Present a valid credit card in the main driver’s name for security deposit and rental charges (debit cards or cash may not be accepted by some suppliers).
Ensure they meet any additional requirements specified for certain vehicle categories, such as luxury, sports, or specialty vehicles.
3. Pickup & Return Time Policy
The standard vehicle pickup time is 1:00 PM.
The standard vehicle return time is 1:00 PM.
Rentals are calculated on a 24-hour basis starting from the pickup time.
Early pickup or late return is subject to supplier availability and approval.
Late returns may be charged as an additional rental day or incur extra fees, according to the supplier’s policy.
Customers are encouraged to communicate any expected delays in pickup or return to avoid extra charges.
4. Vehicle Pickup
Vehicles must be collected at the agreed date, time, and location as stated in the booking confirmation.
The renter must present the original valid driving license, valid passport or national ID, and a credit card in the main driver’s name at the time of pickup.
Failure to meet the required documentation or eligibility conditions may result in booking cancellation with no refund.
For some suppliers, if the car rental office is not located at the airport arrival area and the customer requests vehicle delivery or pickup at the airport, additional airport pickup or delivery charges may apply. Such charges are determined by the supplier and are payable by the customer.
Customers should inspect the vehicle at pickup and report any pre-existing damages to avoid disputes at return.
5. Vehicle Return
Vehicles must be returned at the agreed location, date, and time.
The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as received, excluding normal wear and tear.
Fuel level must match the level at pickup; otherwise, refueling charges may apply.
Late returns are subject to additional charges or counted as an extra rental day.
Customers should remove all personal belongings before returning the vehicle.
6. Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit is required at the time of vehicle pickup and will be blocked on the renter’s credit card.
The exact deposit amount depends on the vehicle category and the supplier’s policy.
The security deposit will be released after the vehicle is returned and inspected, subject to any damage, traffic fines, tolls, fuel differences, or additional charges.

7. Insurance Policy
Basic insurance (usually Third-Party Liability) is included unless stated otherwise.
Optional insurance such as Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), Theft Protection, or Full Coverage may be purchased at extra cost.
Insurance does not cover:
Damage caused by reckless or negligent driving
Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
Off-road or prohibited area driving
Loss or damage to personal belongings
Customers are encouraged to consider additional coverage for high-value vehicles or extended rental periods.
8. Fuel Policy
Vehicles are provided with a specified fuel level and must be returned with the same level.
Refueling charges and service fees may apply if the fuel level is lower upon return.
Customers can choose to prepay for fuel in some cases; the option will be clearly stated at the time of booking.
9. Mileage Policy
Mileage limits, if applicable, will be stated in the booking confirmation.
Excess mileage will be charged according to the supplier’s published rates.
Unlimited mileage may be available for certain vehicle categories or rental plans.
10. Traffic Fines & Violations
The renter is fully responsible for all traffic fines, parking violations, tolls, and penalties incurred during the rental period.
Administrative fees may apply for processing fines after vehicle return.
Customers should familiarize themselves with local traffic rules to avoid fines and penalties.
11. Cancellation & No-Show Policy
The following cancellation rules apply to all bookings. Customers should carefully review them and understand the potential charges before confirming their booking. By completing the booking, the customer acknowledges and accepts these terms.

If the Renter wants to modify the booking (e.g., dates, pick-up and/or drop-off location, car class), the Renter must cancel the current booking and make a new one.
Any modification may result in a change in rental price, for which LEMMETravel.com is not responsible.
The amount paid by the Renter for the initial booking will be returned to the credit card within 2-4 days, provided the cancellation is made no later than 48 hours prior to the scheduled pick-up time.

In the event of a No-show, no refund will be issued. A No-show is defined as:

The supplier reserves the right to refuse service to any Renter who fails to collect the vehicle at the reserved date and time with all mandatory documentation and a valid credit card.
Service may also be denied if the Renter attempts vehicle collection under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Any travel outside the country must be indicated and confirmed at the time of booking, at least 5 days prior to the rental start date.

In case of accident or breakdown, the renter must immediately inform the rental company and local authorities if required.

The company acts solely as an intermediary between the renter and the car rental supplier and is not responsible for acts, omissions, or failures of the supplier.
